My Hero

Saturday night left just the three of us (me and the baby boys) downstairs playing in the family room. Daddy was at Big Bruh-Bruh’s football game and the girls were busy upstairs watching Jersey Shore (puke) and pretending to have Jersey accents (f-u-n-n-y). As D’Lo, AD, and I rolled around on the floor…and as I tried to protect AD from himself as he climbed around on the couch in an attempt to keep up with brother…I really, really noticed what a good big brother D’Lo is quickly becoming. He laughs with AD, and he runs with AD, and he encourages AD to try and keep pace with him.

Then in the most precious display of all, D’Lo (who’s standing on top of his play table) squats down, wraps both arms around his little brother (who’s desperately trying to get up on the table too), nestles his little face in next to AD’s and says…

“Baby Bwuh-Bwuh…you my he-woh.”
