Me vs. Time

Time…Sweet time, have mercy on me please. You move so quickly now, I feel that I can hardly grab enough of you. I wish you would just…S L O W W W W…D O W N.

Time…I’ve learned by now that you simply won’t stop…not even for a moment…not even if I beg and cry. So, my only option is to enjoy you as best I can, during the fleeting glimpses I manage to squeeze from your greedy hands.

Time…I hope you don’t think that your speed will win you this battle – because you would be wrong about that. I will cherish every minute and will, therefore, be the victor – as those memories belong to me forever and ever…and armed with such precious treasures, well…

 I WIN.

It is hard to believe the difference in our little girl, I mean big girl now. I hate time moving so fast. It seems like yesterday that she was born. I love you DeeDee.
